The World Travel Awards Middle East 2017 chose Oman Air as the winner of two awards as the best airline in the Middle East. The national carrier of Oman topped the list of “Middle East’s Leading Airline-Business Class” and “Middle East’s Leading Airline- Economy Class.” The ceremony where the awards were announced was held on October 29th, 2017 in Dubai.
Oman Air is not new to this distinction, having received the same honor for four straight years. The award is given to the airline which wins the most votes from travel and tourism professional all over the globe. Oman Air has been the recipient of many other awards in addition to these.
CEO of Oman Air, Eng. Abdulaziz Al Raisi commented on the endowment of the awards:
