The popular burger chain known as Wahlburgers, which already owns 70 restaurants across the world, will be opening a new restaurant somewhere in the Middle East.
“We have almost 70 restaurants under contract right now, with various franchisees and deals in different places. I think we will have nine or 10 open by the end of the year in places like Fenway Park in Boston and airports in Philly and New York. We also just made a deal in the Middle East for 20 restaurants,” Mark Wahlberg said.
Mark owns the business with his two brothers, Donnie, famous from “New Kids on the Block,” and Paul.
Fans of reality television shows are most likely aware that these brothers have their own reality TV show in the US. The show has been good for the business of selling burgers, and his brand keeps rising in popularity. It seems under these circumstances the risk in opening a few restaurants in MENA is not overly high.
